Dating to the early 20th century, a perfect Edwardian bar brooch which would with the fine and elegant setting have been so highly fashionable at the time, being made with the utmost care and skill. The top quality 'Santa Maria' colour oval faceted Aquamarine is the deepest most precious hue and set to each side are two fiery hand cut Diamonds. Supremely lovely! In the finest milgrained setting of Platinum, which continues along the flared terminals, the gallery and pin are of 15ct yellow Gold (only used in Britain between 1854-1932). As wearable today as this wonderful jewel was a hundred years ago, complete with a safety pin, it measures 2.5 inches end to end.
