A English piece in the Naturalistic style dating to the reign of Queen Victorian around 1860. Depicting a sweet Amethyst bug with flashing Diamond eyes resting upon gorgeous leafage and gemset buds, it is beautifully hand crafted in rich 15ct yellow Gold (solely used in Britain between 1854-1932), and is wonderfully 3D, with charming views from each angle.

The texture of each leaf is finished realistically to show the texture and veins of the leaf, and pinky faceted Almandine Garnets are set as buds, and an Garnet cabochon shaped to form the cute beetle. Adorable, and a quirky piece to wear as your 'signature'. We'd wear it at the collar or on the shoulder!  The whole piece measures an inch and three quarters each way and fastens with a classic 'C' clasp and safety chain.
