Late Victorian French Jet Brooch

Circa 1890's a really pretty faceted 'French Jet' brooch with a very captivating design and one that would have at the time likely been worn on the collar. It measures just over 5cm across and fastens with a traditional 'C' clasp. French jet is a type of faceted Glass which was immensely fashionable in the latter 19th century due to its dark sparkliness and we love it for an evening time look.
